James Kalm makes a whirlwind strolling tour of the opening. This is the gallery’s first exhibition dedicated to the artist’s influential work and announces the shared representation of the artist’s estate between Andrea Rosen Gallery and David Zwirner. Drawn from museum and private collections the exhibition spans several bodies of work from throughout the artist’s career presented in a series of distinct installations over the gallery’s two floors. These works, several of them using everyday items like stacks of printed paper posters and candy have an unexpected elegance, and express a sense of playful generosity. This video was recorded April 27 2017.
