Josh Abelow's stock seems to be on
the rise. With this, his second solo show with the Fuentes Gallery
Abelow presents recent works examining his status within the art world
community while paying homage to its most influential personalities.
Operating not only as a painter but as a blogger and curator, Abelow has
attracted a community of sympathetic fans and supporters who
are posed to push his dream of joining the art historic canon over the tipping point. Working with a light hand and an almost childlike simplicity, his reductive compositions nonetheless contain sophisticated graphic and coloristic content. A musical introduction is provided by Avram K. Ferer www.AvramFefer.com and was recorded live on the corner of Bowery and Houston Street on New York's storied Lower East Side.
