As
a part of his stated mission, James Kalm keeps his eyes and ears open,
looking for various manifestations of culture. Some times he stumbles
onto events in spite of his own biases. When he stuck his head into
99¢ Plus Gallery and spotted the "Lamp Show" he determined that this
exhibit would be of interest to viewers as an example of the DIY
aesthetics within contemporary Bushwick, and for its comic relief. The
"Lamp Show" features the work of 27 artists, many made exclusively for
this presentation. Viewers will receive glances of works by Paul
Wackers, Matthew Palladino, B. Thom Stevenson and others. A musical
introduction is provided by John @ #StayPositiveTestNegative
