Cruising Bushwick on a lazy Summer
Sunday, James Kalm dropped in for a viewing of the much recommended
"Pencil in the Studio" exhibition by Maria Calandra. Maria has gone to
over 40 artist's studios and made graphite drawings, sometime taking
several hours to complete. Sardine associate Jon Lutz give is a brief
tour with color commentary. This program has a musical opening that I
captured by the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Marching Band, http://www.lgbac.org doing a rousing version of "Edge of Glory" at Foley Square.
