After the meshugas of this weekend's
BOS (Bushwick Open Studios) Festival, James Kalm brings viewers a
taste of what's happening in this cutting edge neighborhood. Since
opening and operating the original Bushwick Storefront Gallery in 2009,
Deborah Brown has both expanded her vision and deepened her commitment
to this community. The new Storefront Ten Eyck is a massive 7,000 sq.
ft space, with the potential to change the landscape of exhibition
opportunities in Brooklyn. This program features glimpses of four
concurrent shows: Shamus Clisset, large digital fabrications, "Epic
Fail" organized by Eric Benson and Frank Webster, Deborah Brown, Recent
Paintings and NURTUREart's Matthew Cowan show "The Trees are Thick with
Butter" curated by Marco Antonini. Includes a brief interview with
Deborah Brown.
