Young spanish violin virtuoso Gabriel Arcángel has played at the most prestigious concert venues of Spain, such as Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Palau de la Música in Valencia, Teatro Monumental in Madrid, Teatro del Liceo in Barcelona, Fundación Juan March in Madrid, Auditorio Conde Duque in Madrid, Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao, etc...in solo recitals, in duo with piano and as a soloist with orchestra under renowned batons, like Sergiu Comissiona for instance and others. Abroad, he has given concerts in Swetzerland, Portugal, France, Hungary, Austria, USA, Australia,...in such important venues as Carnegie Hall or Wiener Konzerthaus.
An inborn musician and violinist, however he received some important advices from such great violinists as Yehudi Menuhin, Franco Gulli and Tibor Varga. Anyhow, by far his most important apprenticeship came by listening to recordings of much older violinists, especially Kreisler, Toscha Seidel, Heifetz, Vasa Prihoda, Sarasate, Thibaud and, most important, gypsy virtuosi (the best fiddlers). His style is very personal and free, totally far from today's standarised violin playing.
