MC David Braun introduces Natalie Merchant. "An acclaimed singer and songwriter, and a hero to the anti-fracking movement, she really needs no introduction... just a lot of deep gratitude."

"No excuses, we did a 20-minute sound check in front of everybody and you all know the song now. 'I Don't Want Your Millions Mister". A Jim Garland song, a labor unionizing song from the 1930's which we adapted for our film and concert 'Dear Governor Cuomo'".

On June 17, 2013, thousands of citizens from across New York —from Long Island to Niagara Falls— arrived in Albany to demand freedom from dirty energy, calling on Governor Cuomo to reject fracking and lead the nation in building a renewable energy economy here and now in New York.

At the march and rally, the anti-fracking movement joined with business leaders, faith leaders, health professionals, elected officials, farmers, and youth to demand the renewable energy jobs that our families and communities want and deserve.

The New Yorkers Against Fracking led rally and march was co-sponsored by more than 130 New York and national organizations including Catskill Mountainkeeper, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, CREDO, Democracy for America, Environmental Advocates of New York, Environment NY, Food & Water Watch, Frack Action, New York State Breast Cancer Network, New York State Sustainable Business Council, Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA), NYPIRG, Riverkeeper, Save The Southern Tier, and the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter.
