Kalm ignores the summer's first hot spell and wheels his way to
Bushwick to experience " Surface Support" at SIGNAL. The title riffs on
the 1970s group of French crypto Marxist artists known as Support
Surface. This exhibition features video sculpture that explores the
essential material of video, sometimes formalistically, and other times
humorously. Included are works by: Meriem Bennani, Antoine Catala, Lea
Cetera ,Luca Dellaverson, Dan Herschlein, Jessie Stead, Will Stewart,
Philip Vanderhyden and Kyle Williams.
