Art Guerra Recent Works at SIDESHOW GALLERY

James Kalm, despite scorching temperatures, pleads with Art Guerra, and get him to give viewers a walking tour and explanation of his paintings and practice. Included are snippets of conversation concerning his chemical expertise, the story of his historic mural on Saint Marks Place (during the heyday of the East Village art scene), and a brief insight on his ideas of how alchemy and painting might be related. We then scurry over to Honey Ramka, 56 Bogart Street, slip into the project room, and do a bonus round of glances at the work of Michelle Arlos from her series “Dreams of Interpretations”.
